Text translation
Automatic bidirectional translation across configured channels. Mentions and URLs are preserved. Replies, edits, and deletes sync where Discord and Gloslyn support it.
Community language intelligence
Server terminology, gaming vocabulary, glossaries, and approved translation memory help keep clan slang and proper names consistent. This is curated reuse — not a claim that arbitrary chat automatically trains a model.
Voice
Optional realtime voice interpretation is available as a separate add-on. Voice access is controlled by its own entitlement and quota, independently from Text.
Privacy
Message content and voice audio are not stored by default. Workspaces stay isolated. Usage metering is transparent so you can see characters consumed before quota ends.

FAQ
- Do members need to type /translate?
- No. Once a translation group is configured, Gloslyn translates automatically between the linked language channels.
- Is translation perfect?
- No translation product is perfect. Quality depends on the language pair and your community glossary. When a result looks unreliable, Gloslyn skips publishing it rather than posting a bad translation.
- What happens when my quota ends?
- Automatic translation stops until you upgrade or top up. There is no silent overage billing.
- Is voice available?
- Yes. Voice is optional and separate from Text. Availability depends on your Voice entitlement; Text translation remains fully usable without Voice.
- Do you store message content?
- Message bodies and voice audio are not stored by default. Text is processed for translation and may appear briefly while jobs run. See Privacy.
